Backstory
Millenia after the last Mountain kingdoms were absorbed by the sprawling cities, the mountain dwarves felt at deep beneath the city scape in the underhive. Mining & gathering the precious stones the above ground dwellers yammered for.
As a young dwarf, Ulfgar started joining the excavation parties, learning his kinds trade. Mining, digging, and smithing. Until one day when he was forced to watch im horror as his Clansmen were slaughtered by a Drow raiding party, hired guards fleeing at the first sight of such a foe.
Returning to his people, one of a handful of survivors, Ulfgar knew one thing...if excavation parties were going to stay safe, they needed more than just armed protection. They needed the strongest and fiercest warriors to fend of the Underhive denizens.
With nothing more than the forge hammers he knew so well and his Clan name to offer food & shelter from the scattered Clans, he set forth into the Underhive to learn his trade...
