We take from a needed but uncomfortable long rest with just the safety of the door protecting us
Elgon is woken overhearing the distant booming voice of Boundfur, alerting the Drow horde has found a way around, twice as numerous as before. Elgon trumpets a trunk blast to wake and alert the group
Squad and allies rise and ready themselves for battle
We make our way through a back passageway to escape
Bounder's sense picks up and we begin to hear a commotion to our rear. Time to get moving
We enter a room with slick and slimy path around the top, and a pool of some uncomfortable looking liquid below with a large raft suspended on its surface.
Initiative!
Boundfur and some of the party members jump down to make their way across the raft while others try to navigate the pathways above.
Most of the high pathway group end up slipping on the slimy residue coating the stone and tumbling ungracefully into the pool below
An arrow hurtles by Elgon's head, spurring the group to keep moving forward
One by one we make our way across the room towards the exit
Bingle wisely decides to make a controlled dive to the water below. He takes no damage and displays some boastable form
Becky, like a badass, leaps over the lower platform hooking her axe midway up the wall, then vaulting up with a flip and hero landing onto the ledge above. It was rad.
As we make our way to the exit, Keirhat asks for Kal's help and together they force the heavy doors open. We are anxiously aware there are many figures moving effortlessly on the difficult surface above towards us, taking shots through impossibly small gaps in the pipes and ledges.
As the we get through the doors, we hear what almost sounds like screaming. Boundfur smiles, and we proceed
We wind our way down the narrow passageways of the utility tunnels
Boundfur gleefully points out the elegant design of the system we see around us, mentioning we are currently underneath the Embrace
He stops in his tracks, mouth agape, as we come upon a massive cavernous hole of completely destroyed ground, descending until nothingness and ascending all the way up to the surface of Sector 6
Across the gap, we see some kind of piping and construction, something newer that was clearly put in place before the hole was made
Suddenly, heavy metal structures fall from the ceiling and separate the group, with what looks like Kuo Toa behind the grates
Brengoth starts to freak out and it freaks us out. We end up needing to kill him, and in his head we saw one of the crab things
We end up devising an escape using Elgon's magic rope to a hallway below. Yoz almost bites it, but we all end up making it.
We proceed down the passageways and circular stairs until we find a number of empty rooms and a strange door in the center.
We proceed in and find a hall with a bunch of junk piles. The exit door is buried, so we start
