Recap

Wide-Scale known world lore:

Ravien is the world - one massive city, largely building upon itself over millennia. Barely any of the planet's surface remains exposed to the open sky.

Local lore:

Ravien is littered with rising, wide-bottomed spires of buildings and structures, called monoliths, which serve as the population hubs of the world. They are both the best (top) and worst (bottom) places to live on the metropolis-planet. Despite the inequality, all districts and levels inside the monoliths all share one thing in common; opportunity.

“Spire Primus” is the largest monolith in the world, its massive platinum spire, occupied by the noble and political families and figureheads, stretches nearly to the clouds.

“The Rave” (Where our adventures begin) is the most populated public zone in Spire Primus. This epicenter of industry, trading, research, and politics mix together in a volatile environment, where wealth meets poverty, and security contests with survival.

Underhive - A ruinous region of old-city, too structurally unsound and otherwise perilous of an area to support anyone but the bravest, or most foolish, trying to eek out a living from harvesting its resources. Horrible creatures have been known to reside from here, sometimes even tales of something rising from the Sump.

The Sump: A toxic area of chemicals and decay at the bottom of the undercity, polluted from thousands of years of Ravien waste, trickling ever downward to collect here.

Life in the spire: The few who reside in the Upper spire itself live a life of enormous privilege, and power. Access to the finest of the merchant guild’s vendors, the League’s technology, and the Drethe’s information allows the likes long ruling Houses of Cabaal and House Ztetch to continually expand their reach.

The lower spire: Dignitaries, ruling party politicians, higher ranking law enforcement. Mostly upper class, still very clean and new.

The Rave: The heart of the monolith, is the largest interconnected area of free travel in Spire Primus. The Rave consists of the many districts that span from just below the border-walls of the lower spire, to far downwards, nearing the fringes of the Underhive. This bustling center is a crossroads for all walks of life in the city. Life here is hectic, and nothing is certain. Your connections and social standings will mean you eat or starve, you protect yourself, or seek protection. Everyone runs with a group, the only way someone survives is with someone watching your back in the crowded tangle of tunnels, shops, houses and.
Though throughout the districts, certain guilds and houses have made a name for themselves, often recruiting new members and growing their influence through reputation alone.

Different Guild descriptions - These are the power-guilds that have members and strong influence throughout all levels of the Rave.

Cult of Ahtus - more establishments (clubs) in lower levels. dealing in entertainment, rumored to be led by a demon. (Rakdos)

The Grehl (Golgari Swarm) headquarters just above the underhive- a class of citizens living in the Underhive to try to make a living -, public-service oriented, but often shunned, often mutated.

House Drethe (House Dimir) - located all over, thought to be more active on upper levels - mysterious group with unknown aims, known to influence things around The Rave and even into the spire itself.

Goliath (Gruul Clans) - live on dangerous edge of Rave, bordering outside word. fairly barbaric as a group - known to raid interior areas

Nellulon League (Izzet league) -evenly spread throughout levels in pockets - Responsible for technological advancement and magical services and research.

Escher Syndicate (orzhov). A not so secret organized crime /business (they own merchant guild routes, major water sources, certain entrances to Underhive. led by a dragon.
